    Difference between mild steel and HYSD bars?

    In Mild Steel bar (Fe-250) ductility is high because of less carbon content . Carbon content gives brittleness to the steel bars and increases its strength . In HYSD bars carbon content is more than Mild Steel which increases its brittleness and strength, it causes reduction in ductility
