If the percentage of silt content in the sand is 12%,is it recommended for the concrete? What are the measures?

Silt normally contains clay and using clay in concrete is bad idea.

Having higher content of clay may affect the properties of concrete.

We should not use a river sand for production of concrete as its directly impacting to eco system.

Crush rock sand is better option for concrete production and does not have much variation in its properties.
