Beam and slab in manual calculation of centre of mass and stiffness of each storey

When calculating the centre of mass of lets say 1st floor, for beam do we use the beam underneath the slab that we walk or that we ee in the ceiling or both? and about the slab do we use the slab that we walk or the the slab in the ceiling?
