Checklist consist of following points into it;
Reinforcement
- Length of pile cage according to bore depth of site
- Diameter and number of longitudinal bars as pre drawings
- As per drawing
- Length beyond 12m, use welded lapping
- Min length of weld and number(150mm @ 450c/c) for lapping
- Dia of helical bars and spacing
- Dia of cage o/oDia of stiffner bar and spacing
- Overlapping of stiffner (350mm)Providing circular cover blocks
- Mainbar to stiffner - welded connections
- Rigid tie of mainbar to helical bar at intersections
Flushing
- Selection of tremmie pipes(individual length and dia)Length of Tremmie pipes
- Check funnel depth inside the casing pipe
- Gap between the trimmie and bore bottom(200 to 400mm)
- Density of bentonite solution bore bottom(1.1 to 1.2) before concreting
- Check concrete stopper (lid) properly fixed.Ensure funnel surface is completely wet
- Remove slush from funnel after lid fixing
