Here is brief.. I am looking for structural details... Presently working ono G+3building... Where I want to add rcc Column which will be rest on plinth beam( not from the foundation.) This column will act as a floating column on ground floor itself. ..

the column location based on the architectural drawing. you have sit with your structural designer and explain him you plan ,what r u looking for etc.then only the column position can be decided
