Concrete that traps CO₂ and actually makes it stronger

Concrete is the most abundant man-made material in the world; it is the backbone of modern society. But cement, the critical ingredient that gives concrete its strength, is responsible for up to 7% of the world's carbon dioxide emissions.

CarbonCure manufactures a bolt-on technology that introduces recycled into fresh concrete. Concrete producers benefit from improved operations, while offering designers and developers the ability to reduce the carbon footprint of their building projects.

Kalmatron -- Environmentally Friendly, Green Concrete

Emission of CO2 from conventional concrete could be counted as a source of it during of batch mixing and concrete hardening. After that process goes very slow with insignificant and immeasurable releasing of vapors. Oppositely, during of the rest of concrete existences it’s bombarding by CO2 from urban environment known as a concrete carbonization.
In a case when KALMATRON® KF-A added to the concrete batch, the dominant source of emission is acetylene during of mixing time only. Acetylene is very light gas with very high speed of evaporation. It explains complicity of gas-vapor emission from concrete, which performs in low/none freshly made concrete self deformations (no pop-ups, no “craters,” no cracks, no edges curling, etc.) There is no CO2 emission at all, which could be proven by famous “vinegar test” provided in comparison with conventional concrete.
We do not use Resin/Polymers + Fillers not at all. Up to 104 degrees F --No curing needed.
That concrete is liquid impermeable by itself without needs to isolate it after as it shown KALMATRON® Concrete Admixture.

No Carbon-Dioxide Gases
•Gasses are produced during the cement hydration process. As the gasses are released, they create pores that mark the passage of the gasses through the still-plastic concrete.
•Carbon dioxide is normally produced from Portland concrete, and must build up to a certain “critical mass” before it is able to rise to the surface of the concrete. This results in large, macro pores.
•Kalmatron Portland concrete produces Acetylene gas, which is released as soon as it is formed, resulting in a much smaller gas bubble, and thus smaller, micro pores.
•Normal concrete contains 70% macro pores and 30% micro pores.
•Kalmatron concrete contains approximately 3% macro pores and 97% micro pores, making Kalmatron concrete far more resistant to water ingress.
KALMATRON® KF-A admixture to concrete mixes is a conceptually new product patented in the USA (#5,728,428).
KALMATRON® ADMIXTURES is a concept of cement agitation hydration in 4 to 6 hours after batch placement resulting in inert cement rock passive to sewage corrosion. KALMATRON® is not crystalline developing admixtures, but cement accelerator speed and volume admix, that's why patents were issued for our product.
