How many days required between 1st coat and 2nd coat plaster as per IS CODE?
You can do curing as long as you want.

Generally people do curing for 3 days. Better to cure it for atleast 7 days.

For curing you need to do planning of plastering activity phasewise so that each plaster panel get cured and also works wont get hampered.

General wrong practice followed for external plaster - plaster on whole face of wall started from top and continued till bottom everyday - this practice wont allow curing of yesterdays works.

There is as such no strength requirement for external plaster, it achieves more than 3.5 mpa easily.
