How do I calculate bridge horizontal movement due live loads?

I want to know how to obtain the design criteria for elastomeric bearings. The bridges that I'm using are bridges with beams/girders and concrete deck.

If you can give me some book with an example or some reference that shows how to calculate, Im going to be grateful.
