how to calculate no. of floors required for high rise building using "FAR" & "Build up area" ?

It is vary from municipality to municipality.check your city ecr which says what fsi permissible.suppose your plot is 1000 sq.m.in your city if the fsi is 2 you can construct 4000 sft.you have to check the dcr the minimum offset required.deduct this area from the plot area you will obtain the plinth area. In case if the plinth area 500 Sam you can construct 4 floor.this only shall not help you.you have to find out from the dcr free of fsi fungible area etc. You should be through with your city dcr to find the answer to your question.without referring the dcr your plot adjoining road width front and side offset answering your question is not complicated.
