Premature connection of masonry
Deficiency of the connection method
Bending deformations of slabs and beams that support the walls cause this inclined crack. Repairing needed
I would suggest a treatment for this problem which will take care of the cracks.
Fixing of sockets at 150mm c/c over the cracks and sealing the sockets gaps with epoxy based putty.(EPCO-1010)
After sockets are fixed leave aside for 48 hours so that epoxy sealant self-cures.
Fill the cracks with the same epoxy based putty on the front and back side.
Grout the cracks first with a low viscosity less than 5 cps high molecular weight thermosetting polymer concrete impregnating grout which will strengthen the concrete matrix. (MONOPOL)
After 24 hours again grout with 200 cps viscosity epoxy grout and finish the same by cutting the sockets and filling with epoxy based putty.(KP/HP-250 -SLV).
In case you wish to protect the steel then you can grout a CORROSION INHIBITOR before you start with the grouting. (KP-100 OR KP-200)
The above grouting to be carried out using the ROHIBB GROUTING MACHINE.
All the above products are manufactured by KRISHNA CONCHEM PRODUCTS PVT LTD and are versatile products which I have been using for more than 25 years now.
