If the soil is tested to be NON PLASTIC as per IS code, do we need to test the shrinkage limit of the soil in the laboratory ?

So if ive tested the soil as and the result is that the soil is Non Plastic, should I stop my test there and report the soil as non plastic or should I continue and try the shrinkage limit test .?
