RECRUITMENT FOR PROJECT

Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of this Institute. The position is temporary initially for a period of 1 Year and tenable only for the duration of the project. The requisite qualification & experience etc. are given below:

RD/0117-DRDO000-006 :"ST/15-16/ARD-1320(DMR-02.01) dt. 24/07/2" ()​ About the project: Technical staff required to conduct high strain rate mechanical experiments and analysis using split hopkinson pressure bar setup on various materials.​

Position & Salary Project Research Assistant (1 Post ) Consolidated salary Rs.30000 - 42000 + Rs.4000.00/- Out Of Campus Allowance (if applicable) p.m. Qualification BTech in Mechanical/Production Engineering with first class or above at all levels of education. Preference will be given to candidates with hands on experimental experience and programming knowledge.​ Job Profile The staff is expected to conduct experiments on various materials and maintain the SHPB setups in our lab. He is also expected to perform various other developmental activities related to the lab including but not limited to preparation of samples, post deformation analysis, writing technical reports and presenting work at various meetings.​

The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project .
