What type of acidic effluent line should be laid in factory premises

Dear friends.

Let us brain storm for above subject.

Existing condition.

Our company is 70 year old with manufacturing facility of all types of chemicals and have under ground effluent line and flow is by gravity. (Total length is @ 3500 meter)
Pipes used were stone ware glazed 450 dia. 600 mm long and jointing was carried out with Acid resisting cement.
Now we feel that at many places the u/g line is damaged and effluent may be seeping in sub soil as well as during rain the intake at effluent treatment plant is increasing.

We need to change this line.

Proposed system.

We propose three options.
1) Same u/g line to be laid with HDPE pipes, HDPE manhole, properly joints to be carried out with pressure test, encasing the lines with RCC because the lines will be laid on roads with heavy traffic.
2) All different plants should have collection pit and we should pump effluent from over head gentry (above 7.00 meter height) to main ETP.
3) Lay HDPE pipes along road with RCC trench up to ETP again with pumping.

Now all this three options have some benefits as well as limitations.

Option 1 - As the existing system has worked for more then 60 years, its life is over and can be replaced with HDPE pipes (better MOC, less joints) and will serve the purpose for another 50 years. But at the same time the counter argument is that it is not possible to check leakage for such U/G lines, as well for the roads of entire company will be excavated may hamper the manufacturing activities.

Option 2 - Difficult to support HDPE or any PVC line at height as well as if any case of leakage the effluent can splash and harm to nearby humans.
Need continuous pumping, will increase operating cost.

Option 3 - This will give best support to HDPE lines as well as maintenance will be easy as all pipes are running at ground level, but again pumping is required as well as at every road crossing ( normally at every 100 meter ) we have to lay under ground lines.
The RCC trench which accommodate this line need plenty of space along roads and need proper drain to ETP in case of pipe failure.

For option 2-3 weather action like temperature variation and UV rays will affect MOC of pipe line and chances of joint failure may be more and we may need to change pipelines more frequently.

All the members are requested to give inputs and their suggestion for best option with reason.
If somebody has different idea or better option please share.

Thanks....

In such cases stainless steel pipe or carbon steel pipe that are used for sewage transportation is the best option.

Also suitable protection in the form of supports must be provided using acid resistant cement.
