The discontinuities in the building create a vortex which minimizes the wind load, breaking the wind load and reducing drag
Drag is the force of wind or air resistance pushing in the opposite direction to the motion of the object, drag is reduced by more than 40%
It was observed that the drag coefficient could be reduced by up to 40 % by rounding the corners. This will consequently decrease the straining actions developed by the structure, which will give more economic and less bulky cross sections.
