Can we use m-sand (crusher sand) for concrete instead of river sand?

No one in Today's conditions, use river sand for producing the concrete. Extracting a river sand from river bed can cause damages to environment and lead to extreme conditions of survival of human being in future.
Crush stone sand is used for producing the concrete almost everywhere.
M sand is same like crush sand but has low fines and better cubical shape.
