can any one suggest what types of self curings agents are best suitable for high strength and self compacting concretes

All curing compounds are good
there are 3 types of curing compound (i used it long back, so dont no much about the current increment in types)
Water base curing compound - this achieves up to 80 % curing and good where you want to do further work on Concrete surface.
Wax based - achieves up to 90% curing, good for underground works which will be back filled.
Resin based - it can achieve up to 100% curing but cant guarantee.
What does actually curing compound do - it prevents moisture loss from concrete by forming layer on surface of concrete - for lower grades of concrete those layers can survive but as you go for higher grades of concrete like M60 and above, you need to check it practically as the pressure created inside due to hydration is more.
