External paint to be completed first followed by internal paint. You can do putty application internally simultaneously once you remove the scaffolding of external paint.

Check the moisture levels before starting internal paint acceptable limits max up to 5 to 10% moisture in walls is permissible.

Please note that sufficient time must be given so that moisture entrapped in masonry etc is dissipated. Nowadays due to aluminum shuttering concrete walls do not retain moisture so take your call accordingly, but it's wise to use a moisture meter before starting internal paint.

External paint should be completed before the monsoons.

Avoid internal painting in monsoons and moist conditions. Secondly, after the internal painting is completed ensure that the flats are not kept completed closed as this will result in blistering of the internal paint.
