Is it possible to increase the concrete mix design more then 200?if yes then what are the requirements that should be fulfilled to get M200+...??

Up to M50 or M60 all loads are taken aby aggregates used in it.

As you go to higher grade all loads are taken by Cement sand matrix.

You can design as high as till you reach the highest propery of material used for making concrete by designing its parameter.

Cement is economical and optimum material for Todays market need.

As we advance in engineering and do make new choices due to any constraints we put some limitation or need to imply some property for material which we use for building structure.

Sooner or later, there will be demand for even higher grades of concrete, concrete that produced in that time might be having completely differwnt most advance ingredients in it - this is need of coming time - it may be 2200 or 2300 and not 2018.

People now a days think only of how they can make concrete more and more economical.

They do use flyash, ggbs, carbon fibers and lot of other material, i mean any waste available in huge quantity, peoples are making projects on it like

Concrete with plastic waste
Concrete with plastic bottle
RCC with bamboo as reinforcemnt and there are lot.

So you just born in wrong century to think of higher grades.

It may help Civil Industry in future if you make break through studies on this subject and publish papers - you will be einstine of Civil Industry in next century.

Its good you are interested in it - you meed to select right material to get suceed with it.

Cement Industry now produces Cement which reach 73 + Mpa strength at 28 days and will keep advancing in coming future - our IS code is still at 53 mpa as max grade of cement.

Necessity is mother of all invention, unless there is any project which demands such high grade concretes, peoples may not going to inveat there Time and money on it.
