To do the testing you need to know following values of sample;
Weight of mould & wet soil (W1) in Gms.
Weight of empty mould (W2) in Gms.
Weight of wet compacted soil = (W1-W2) in Gms.
Density of wet soil = (W1-W2) / V in gm/cc
For Moisture Content
Weight of wet soil & container (Ww) in Gms.
Weight of dry soil + container (Wd) in Gms.
