As per IS 456 water used for concrete mixing and curing should have pH value above 6
It also says for ground water pH should be from 6 to 9.
Below 6, its acidic and above 8 it goes towards alkaline.
Anything acidic is dangerous.

Exactly saying 6 to 8
Maintain 7 is little difficult bcuz it Haydn's only in lab environment
Not acidic or not basic is good for construction
