How to construct a new underground water tight RCC water tank meant for fire fighting water storage , septic tank, fire tank, hot water storage, domestic water supply etc?

It is so simple.construct the tank as per the details provided by the structural consultant.provude a rungs in the wall for maintance purpose.from inside use box type waterproffing.use the water stopper wherever the construction joints are there.do the construction in step procedures.external wall to be plastered with water proofing plaster.if your question specific I can guide you properly.fir a generalise question I given the generalised answer.

thanks a lot for your prompt response. Do we have any specific concrete ( for reducing permeability / porosity ) meant for water tight structures without using waterproofing compounds? or it is mandatory for us to use water proofing chemicals in either before or after construction of water tank structures for achieving water tightness?
