generally 40 mm not at all used in any structural concrete.40 mm used mainly in road construction concrete bound macadam and plum concrete .generally for these sort of concrete we never check compressive strength or slump as these concrete considered lean concrete.we focus compaction on these sort of concrete.any how kindly note the cube mould or slump cone sizes NEVER changes for various types of concrete.kindly refer the is codes for cube mould or slump cone.i am not aware of the code no.u can find it from google
