what is painting coefficient for railing paint

Coefficients are the Project Specific things and not the universal laws (though some may found to have co-relation due to use of same material at various project but will not be case at all time).
Every Project is unique so its specs and designs will be unique with some common similarities like house has door window etc.
To find the coefficient, one need to practical measure everything as a sample to arrive at conclusion of coefficient for railing painting at my project with this kind of railing is XXXXXX.
Sampling is a simplest method of arriving at conclusion.
Do record all data's like type of railing, total theoretical area of rail surface, type of paint, manufacture by, properties etc.
Weight the paint before starting painting application. after completion of 1 coat uniformly on all rail surface, do again weight the remaining paint quantity to arrive at how many liters it took to cover that railing surface.
now compare the coverage of paint you got with the coverage mentioned on technical data sheet of paint manufacturer.
there are multiple aspects which need to look upon which arriving at coefficient of painting, you might find a 2 paints from different manufacturer gives different coverage for same type of work which also changes my coefficient and there could be huge problem at actually project more specifically if its done on mass scale.
