Why cement is packed in 50 kg Bags

Can any one explain logically and technically why the cement is packed in 50 kg bags.why not 49,69,75 etc

Cement is stored and transported in 50 Kg bags due convenience in handling, higher sizes bags are not desirable beyond this packing size.
