Checklist is a important record it helps us in order to get work done correctly and it ensure we do not miss any point to check which is important from aspect of Quality of work.
Checklist attached herewith is just a sample provided for your reference, work carried out as per this procedure may have different sets of standards, material specifications, standard operating procedures and terms and conditions for doing that work. This all parameter or some parameter may not match with one you are executing at your Project.

Checklist of Internal Painting Works consist of following checkpoints in it;
Procedures to be followed before internal painting
- All civil and electrical works complete
- Main door provided with locking arrangement
- Wall surface dry checked
- Alkalinity of wall surface checked
- Dirt and dust particles removed off from wall surface by papering
- Electrical boards/switches/windows/decorative pieces /covered properly with masking tape
- Material - Primer, paint, putty, to be used of approved brand /color / shade/ texture.
- Manufacturers literature available on site
- Approved shade card with final shades marked on them available on site
- Brush /roller /water paper/ emery paper/sand paper to be used of approved brand and no.
- Scaffold to be used with proper protection for legs to avoid scratches on flooring
Procedures to be followed during internal painting
- Primer coat applied ( 1st coat) as specified
- Putty applied over primer (to eliminate the undulations in wall ) as specified
- Papering of putty done
- Primer coat applied ( 2nd coat ) as specified
- Paint applied as specified ( minimum 2 coats)
- Use of roller to give required texture as specified for application of paint
Procedures to be followed after internal painting
- Finished surface texture satisfactory
- Cleaning of flooring / window panes /electrical fixtures / fittings / skirting etc. done as specified
