I feel you should write some more details on what kind of softwares you are thinking to develope.

People in general wont appriciate such work and dont use softwares for their works up to max extent.

Software already available are
BIM for complete modelling
ERP / SAP to manage works and finance.

They are more secure, security is important when it connects to financial transactions.

If You put more lights on specific points peoples might show interest in it.

Todays business scenario - no business work without investment.

You should specify what type of investment it require

Time
