Age at test of concrete cube

Yes it is right, testing is done at 7 and 28 days +/- 2 hours.
Cement starts reaction after addition of water in it and normally this time is considered for age of concrete irrespective of cube casting time.
We can do test around 2 hours befor or after completion of age.
For 28 days it wont matter even if you test the cubes by more delay in time because at 28 days we measure ultimate strength which is only criteria for acceptance or rejection of concrete.
As per IS code, you need to do testing as per stated by you but doing test on 7th and 28th day without calculating hours does not make much difference in strength of concrete.
Normally at any construction site cube testing is done after around 4:00PM everyday for 7 and 28 days age cube, because it wont make much difference.
