We're committed to developing and publishing Indian Standards, implementing Conformity Assessment Schemes, recognizing and operating laboratories for Conformity Assessment, instituting Hallmarking, empowering consumers, conducting programs to build capacity in quality assurance, and representing our nation in ISO & IEC.
In our ongoing efforts to ensure top-notch concrete for construction and infrastructure, BIS has released the Indian Standard IS4926, known as the Ready Mix Concrete - Code of Practice (RMC). BIS provides certification to Ready Mixed Concrete plants based on the process requirements of IS 4926:2003. This certification serves as a third-party assurance for Ready-Mixed Concrete and aids RMC plants in establishing a robust process in line with the Indian Standard.
As part of our awareness campaign, we are organizing a seminar to spread knowledge and provide guidance on the implementation and process certification of RMC in accordance with IS 4926 on 26th October 2023 at 11OO hrs followed by Lunch. This seminar is intended for Ready Mix Concrete Plant Owners, Quality Managers, Technical Managers, Associates, and Consultants in the Pune Region.
