Concrete fungus why and how do they occur?

Its not a fungus, its calcium deposit which came on to surface due to flowing water inside the masonry joints.

If concrete is not cured properly, calcium try to come out on the surface, we call it as efflorescence in concrete.

This is hope of calcium to get the water

Ok but i can see some foam like material above the surface is that also because of the calcium
