- What are the duties or responsibilities of a Civil Engineer?
1. Civil engineer has to assist the Project Engineer or Section Engineer as per his post in all respects, including site supervision and office works.
2. He has to check the quality of work as per contractual agreements of the contract, specification, & according to Client.
3. To make the valuable coordination between the contractor and consultant.
4. He has to organise the duties of site staff.
5. To monitor the program according to contract schedule and inform to his superiors.
6. To make coordination between concerned departments regarding the removal of obstacles.
7. To maintain the daily or weekly report, regarding site activities.
8. He has to keep records of all correspondence and monthly reports.
9. Randomly checking of lab testing and record.
