What are the advantages and disadvantages of plastic bricks?

As i have not used such plastic bricks so do not have idea about its advantages or disadvantages.
Plastic is almost completely ban here in India, so recycling the waste of the plastic by moulding it into brick by replacing brick material partly will help in reducing waste and pollution.
Indian government taking initiative on reducing the waste from other industries and making India Beautiful. One of such initiative is using old tires by crushing into small pieces in development of cement concrete roads.
If the plastic is used in bricks same way, it can lead to reduction in waste pollutant, but calling brick as plastic brick may not sound good nor people will use it by getting stuck at how to build wall and what will happen after it.
