There is no specific intervals for testing of materials specified in IS codes.
What it says, When you have ISI mark on product you buy, there is no further testing is required for acceptance.
However you can test the parameters of products at any laboratory for acceptance base on mutual agreement between supplier and purchaser.
What is means, you can test it at your lab or third party lab as per the agreement between your company and supplier of material.
Agreement is important when you Reject the material and send back after doing testing at your lab or at any third party lab.
the cost of testing is in whose scope is clearly define in it.
So, we can have the frequencies of material testing laid as per our own requirement and the site conditions.
There are tests which can be perform on monthly basis, weekly basis and on daily basis as soon as you receive the material.
So its up to you, for selecting a criteria for acceptance and making a "Inspection and Test Plan(ITP).
Materials like aggregates are produced at crusher and mostly by local people who do not have much concern of Quality.
Such materials should be checked in each lot received for a specific parameters like Size and gradation, Quality of rock - is it basalt or just crush a soft rock.
Material which have more control on manufacturing side needs less testing frequency but you can check basic parameters on receiving each lot.
