Why are Builders not recognized most times

Builders just execute the works which are planned by design team. they mostly wont thought on defectiveness of design.
Also in many cases the feedback on defects is not given to design team by executors.
From your statement i do understand builders as a civil engineers, supervisors and work force which actually does the job.

If we can able to do above, we can reduce the cost of the structure and get recognition.
If you are talking about the owner of the Project, then the owner only put ideas for his dream project, the rest is done by design team. in this case builders are more recognized and have supreme powers because they make a decisions.
