This checklist helps you in doing checking of RCC columns, Reinforcement and shuttering work checking.

This checklist helps you in doing checking of RCC columns, Reinforcement and shuttering work checking.
RCC Column work checklist consist of following points;
Reinforcement
- Column main bars are as per drawing
- All Links spacing as per drawing
- All rings provided with 135o bend inside (confinement)
- Covers provided as per drawing
- Joggles with correct slope (Max 1in 6) with extra stirrup
- Master ring provided above top level of concrete (app.1meter)
- Overlap provided for column bars in central zone
- Staggering of bars done at overlapping
- Approved formwork drawings available on site.
- Size and diagonals of column as per drawing.
- Plumb, Right angle and alignment checked
- Gap sealing done at starter level and for all sides
- Spacing of horizontal runners(chavi) as per drawing.
- Spacing of vertical Wailers(Patti) as per drawing.
- Horizontal wailers flush with vertical runners
- Tie rod provided as per drawing
- Sufficient cross bracing provided to support the column
- Shikanja spacing is as per drawing
- Independent platform erected for casting
- Top level of concrete marked from inside
