Column position shifting

This is the column of size 300*600
And u can see it is not in alignment senior engineer is shifting this column about 9"to make it in line is this right to do, pls help

I am not handling this site, I just visited

This might be correct as per structural design. i too seen such cases at my project too.

You should confirm for correctness of executed work by referring structural drawings.

Sir in my case the cg will shift, it will not harm the structure? Pls suggest

When such a problem arises consultant gives bracket beam in form of U bars which comes out of the column. Therefore in that case half beam will be supported on the bracket and half on the column. This bracket beam can be clearly seen in the pic sent by Mr.Deshmukh.
