Drawing control register format for Architectural and Structural Drawing

Drawings are the vital parts of any construction project and if no control over it is kept, the revisions in drawing will screw the structure and incur huge cost on repairs.

Below are the tips which should be strictly followed in order to control the drawing usage.

When new drawing is received it should be signed with date.

Separate register can be kept for Structural and Architectural drawings.

Master copy should be stamped at back side as Master Copy.

Billing copy shall be stamped at front side as controlled copy and billing copy.

All other copies issued to site shall be controlled on front side.

Withdrawn drawing should be marked as superseded.

Signature shall be taken in register when drawing is returned.
