Grades in AAC block

As per IS 2185 Part 3, there are two grades of AAC blocks.

Grade I and Grade II.

AAC blcoks are classified as Grade I and Grade II, with strength parameters for each category of density. Following table is made according to specification stated in IS 2185 Part 3 for Grade of AAC Block.

The composition of AAC blocks are as mentioned below:

  2. Cement-12%
  3. Lime - 9%
  4. Gypsum-3%
  5. Alluminium- 0.5%
