How to do pending works and its area in excel sheet

Hi all,
Here I want to share my experience in the recent past...

When you want to take pending works for various works what you will Do?

Prepare an excel format like I am taking pending works of ventilator,I formed a table in excel stating the location A block 001 flat ventilator of size .45x.60m is pending leave the status as blank
002 flat ventilator done put tick mark

In the result column put a formula =sumblank(A3:A5)
The blank cells will be counted

Multiply the area and the number of blank cells give the pending area

Hope it will be useful

Soon I will update an excel sheet as an example

Leave the pending works cells blank

The exact formula to count empty cells are

=countblank(A3:A8)

Got it....!!!

Now take the area of that work and multiply the number blanks counted gives the pending area in total
