Good evening all
We used course aggregate in pcc (1.5 jelly)
What are the reason we are used why we are not used 20mm jelly pls explain

Use of maximum size aggregates depends on various parameters and in cases like PCC the maximum size of aggregates can be base on the concrete mix designers choice.

Use of smaller size aggregates require more cementitious content compare to larger size of aggregate due to the surface area.

Use of 20mm aggregate is far better compare to smaller one.
