red & white type stone in coarse aggregate good or bed for concrete work?

Aggregates are produced from a natural rock, this can have a reddish or whitish deposit in it.

In order to understand its impact, you can do a trial concrete at your site lab by picking only those pieces which you think are doubtful.

You can also verify other properties of such material by sending them into a third party laboratory.

from the color we can not judge weather its good or bad material but i have seen aggregates with white and red spots and even some reddish aggregates which does not impact on the properties of concrete.

Test it and be sure on your decision for using or not using such materials.
